Mental Health Counselor
We are inviting a licensed therapist to join our practice and deliver professional, client-centered therapy services. This role focuses on supporting individuals, couples, and families as they work through mental health, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The therapist will promote healing, self-awareness, and coping strategies while creating a welcoming, confidential space where clients feel valued, understood, and empowered.
About role
The licensed therapist will provide client-centered, evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and addressing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. You will create a non-judgmental and supportive space, track therapeutic progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions in-person or online.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other approaches.
- Assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral needs, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s goals.
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and other modalities to promote emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential client records, documenting progress, session notes, and treatment outcomes.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing individual, couples, or family therapy
- Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Ability to create a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment for clients.
- Comfortable conducting sessions both in-person and online using teletherapy platforms.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate client records and treatment plans.
